Get Your Flu and COVID-19 Vaccinations Here
We encourage all eligible patients to receive their flu and COVID-19 vaccinations at Stour Surgery.
By choosing to get vaccinated with us, you directly support our practice. The funds we receive from these vaccinations allow us to hire additional staff and enhance the quality of care we provide throughout the year. With NHS funding on the decline, your support is more crucial than ever to help us meet the growing needs of our community.
Why Choose Stour Surgery for Your Vaccinations?
- Support Local Healthcare: Your vaccination helps us reinvest in vital services.
- Improved Care: More staff means better care for you and your family.
- Community Impact: Together, we ensure that everyone in our community receives the care they need.
Important Vaccination Dates
We’re holding flu and COVID-19 vaccination clinics on 5th and 12th October.
Why Timing is Key
- Maximize Protection: The flu vaccine is most effective in the first three months, offering protection for at least six months.
- Early Effectiveness: It takes about two weeks for the vaccine to fully take effect.
- Winter Readiness: Getting vaccinated in early October ensures you’re protected throughout the peak flu season (October to March).
- Health Safeguards: While not 100% effective, the flu vaccine significantly reduces the risk of severe complications.
Protect Yourself and Our Community
By scheduling your vaccination at the right time, you’ll be better protected when it’s most needed. Your choice to vaccinate with us also helps us continue to deliver excellent care to everyone in our community.
Ready to book? If you are eligible, please contact us to schedule your appointment on either 5th or 12th October.
