Dr Shawyer qualified in London and trained as a GP in Tower Hamlets. She qualified in 2013 before relocating to Bournemouth. She has worked in the Dorset area since then, in a mixture of salaried and Urgent Care settings.

Dr Shawyer works Tuesday mornings and all day on Wednesdays and Fridays.
