Helen Smallpeice
Nurse Manager

Helen manages our Nursing team, which includes Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Paramedics and Phlebotomists. Helen has worked as a Practice Nurse for the past 17 years and takes a special interest in respiratory medicine and has diplomas in both Asthma and COPD. She also has a special interest in travel health and minor illness and has completed the Level 7 Care of Clients with Minor Illness course.

Fern
Practice Nurse

Fern has worked at Stour Surgery for the past 2 years, before this she was a Community Nursing Sister and worked in the community for 9 years. She has a wealth of experience in wound care and has a special interest in travel health and respiratory. She has also completed the Level 7 Care of Clients with Minor illness.

Billie
Practice Nurse

Billie qualified as a registered Nurse in 2021 and has been working at Stour Surgery since qualifying. She has since undertaken further training and has received a master’s in general practice.  She has a special interest in Diabetes and has completed her degree in this long-term condition. She has also completed the Level 7 Care of Clients with Minor illness.

Mary has worked in the NHS for over 10 years as a Healthcare Assistant in various settings and joined Stour Surgery in 2020. Along the way she has gained a wealth of experience and knowledge in wound care as well as having a special interest in Learning disabilities and Mental health.

Healthcare Assistant

Colette has worked with in the NHS as a Healthcare Assistant for over 10 years and started at Stour Surgery in 2020. Over this time she has gained a wide range of skills and knowledge. Colette is always looking to add to her skill set in order to provide the best patient care possible. She has a keen interest in all aspects of health care.
